Flat Woven Slings

Synthetic web slings are made using either nylon or polyester flat webbing. Web slings are use for lifting highly-polished, fragile or delicate loads that have to be protected from damage. The softness of the web will not mar, deface or scratch the loads while the wide surface area ensures a firm secure grip around the load. Web slings are available in six configurations:

Type 1: Steel or aluminum triangles both end.
Type 2: Steel or aluminum triangle one end and choker fitting other end.

Web slings can be damaged, abraded, punctured, or cut in use if not protected. Be sure to protect your slings against the following:

  • Load edges
  • Jagged materials
  • Abrasion surfaces
  • Burred hooks
  • There is no such thing as "cut proof" protection. Some materials are better for abrasion, and others are better against the effects of cutting. Select the protection material best suited for your application.
